Transportation
Getting to the conference:
The easiest way to travel downtown from the airport is by light rail: take the Canada Line Sky Train from YVR to the "Waterfront" stop. From there, a short bus or cab ride will take you to the Westin. If you prefer to walk, the distance between the train station and the hotel is about 1.5 kilometers or 1 mile.
For those travelling by car from Seattle (WA), Calgary, and Edmonton, estimated travel times are as follows:
Seattle, Washington: 2 hours and 45 minutes via I-5 N (click here for more information on border crossings)
Calgary, Alberta: 10-11 hours via Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W
Edmonton, Alberta: 12 hours via AB-16 and BC-5 S

Vancouver’s Translink provides public transportation through light rail and bus systems. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are also available.
